Perfect for book lovers! Help organize the book fair, run the cash register, or assist kids as they shop in school for great books. A share of the profits goes to the PTO, which we use to donate books to our library, needy students, & classrooms. We can also use Scholastic dollars to purchase items for the school or fun prizes for Tricky Tray.

Celebrate our wonderful teachers! Each May, we thank our school staff for their hard work and dedication throughout the school year. We need volunteers to donate food and drinks, as well as to assist with set up of our teacher luncheons.

Each year, the PTO awards $1,000 scholarships to eight graduating seniors. This committee reviews the applications and interviews the students to select the scholarship recipients. (Note: You may not serve on this committee if you are the parent of a graduating senior.)
5TH GRADE FAREWELL (June)

Help plan the annual PTO sponsored party celebrating our 5th Graders as they move up to LMS. Our committee organizes the food, drinks, DJ, and games for our 5th Graders. In addition, volunteers are needed the night of the event.
8TH GRADE PROMOTION PARTY (June)

Help plan the PTO sponsored dance for the 8th Graders moving up to DHS each year on the night of their promotion ceremony. There is a DJ, food, drinks, and fun for our 8th Graders. We also need parents to chaperone the dance.

Be on the official FUN committee! Help us plan the events that make our school community so special. Annual events include Monster Bash (our Halloween costume party) and the Talent Show (featuring performances by students and staff). We also sponsor family outings, movie nights, craft nights, etc. Bring us your ideas! Volunteers are always needed to help organize events, sell tickets, work the bake sale, etc.
