The Tricky Tray is the biggest fundraiser for the Dunellen PTO every school year. This fundraiser raises the majority of the funds needed to fund all of our events and sponsorships throughout the year.

The Tricky Tray will take place on May 6, 2023 at John P. Faber Elementary School in the Gymnasium, 400 High Street, Dunellen, New Jersey 08812 and it will be a hybrid event. You must be 18 years or older to participate in this event. You can choose if you want to drop your tickets and watch a live stream of the raffle drawing or stay and watch the raffle drawing live. We will have 2 time slots for people that want to drop their tickets and leave (10am and 11am) and 3 time slots for those that would like to drop their tickets and stay (12pm, 1pm, and 2pm). We will have a 200 person seating limit for those that want to attend in person. There will be 25 tables with 8 people at each table. We will not accommodate more than 8 at a table for this year's event. If you are attending in person, please choose a table captain and list their name where noted below so that we know what table you want to sit at. Please note that everyone must register individually.
Virtual time slots will have a 50 person limit. The 12pm and 1pm in-person time slots will have a 75 person limit and the 2pm time slot will have a 50 person limit. We are using the staggered entry times to help with the crowds at the entrance and when dropping tickets.
The Live Stream event will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2023 and will feature the pulling of the winning tickets for all prizes. The Golden Ticket (see below for details) will be drawn at 3pm, and the rest of the prizes will be drawn starting at 3:15pm.
Registration closes on Saturday, April 29, 2023 @ 5pm (or when we have reached capacity for the ticket drop time slots available).
In order to participate in the virtual event, you must be available (or designate a representative) to put your tickets in the ticket buckets in the John P. Faber Elementary School Gymnasium, on Saturday, 5/6/23 at either 10am or 11am. A Sign-Up Genius link will be emailed to you after registration is completed and payment is received. You must be at the school within the time slot that you sign up for so you can drop your tickets in the buckets and all tickets must be dropped within that 1 hour time slot.
In order to participate and stay in-person for the drawing, you will need to be available to enter at either 12pm, 1pm, or 2pm. The Sign-Up Genius link will also be sent to those planning to stay in-person so you can choose your entrance time slot. The link will only be sent after registration is completed and payment is received.
The baskets will be on display in the gym. Additional Basket Raffle Tickets, Mystery Prize Tickets, Lottery/Money Tree Tickets, Birthday Raffle Tickets, 50/50 Tickets, and Golden Tickets will also be for sale during the ticket drop times.

2023 Dunellen PTO Tricky Tray Event
The Raffle Tickets that you purchase as a part of this form will be available to pick up either at your ticket drop time slot, or you may pick up your tickets on Friday, May 5, 2023 between 4pm and 5:30pm at the Faber Elementary Gym doors. Please note that if you pick up your tickets prior to your ticket drop time slot, you are responsible for those tickets.
If you are a winner and you attend the event virtually, you MUST pick up your winning baskets on Saturday, May 6th at the conclusion of all tickets being called. There will be a 1 hour window from the last ticket being called for you to come to the Faber Gym doors to pick up your winnings. The latest you can pick up your prize will be 8:30pm on May 6th. You may also designate a representative to either receive your prizes if they are staying for the drawing, or to pick up the prizes for you after the ticket drawing.
Registration is $5 per person, which includes access to the link for the Live Stream of the event for those that attend virtually. You can only register one participant per Google Form as your name and phone number will be associated with each ticket purchased. Payments may be combined, but Google Forms must be individualized. If paying for multiple parties, please make sure all names are noted when your payment is made.
The GOLDEN TICKET is returning this year after last years success! The Golden Ticket prize will be 1 ticket dropped in each prize in Levels A, B, C, and D. The tickets will be pre-dropped by one of our volunteers and the winner will receive the ticket stubs for all of those pre-dropped tickets. All pre-dropped tickets will be labeled with "Golden Ticket Winner" on the back so that we will know the winner of the prize. You can purchase a Golden Ticket for $20.
We are also continuing the themed Table Decorating contest for those staying for the in-person drawing! This year our theme will be 'All Around the World". Those that attend in person can decorate their table to fit with the theme to win the contest. Let your imagination travel around the world! We will have a group of the volunteers choose the best decorated table prior to intermission. The winning table will be announced at the beginning of intermission and everyone at the table will win 2 additional Level C Tickets and 2 additional Level D Tickets that they can drop in the ticket buckets during intermission for more chances to win the big prizes.
Those that attend in-person may choose to bring food and drink with them. Please note that since the Tricky Tray is taking place in the school, alcoholic beverages are prohibited.
